Petition for sacked PCS Home Office reps

The Home Office is cutting over 8,500 jobs over the next four years. In its efforts to  suppress union resistance senior managers are prepared to victimise union representatives. Mark Hammond and Sue Kendal are both PCS representatives who worked in the Home Office. They were sacked for unsubstantiated allegations relating to a satirical newsletter. By coincidence they had both organised a successful campaign to defend members terms and conditions recruiting hundreds of members in the process. PCS considers that the Home Office conducted a biased investigation and dismissed them without evidence. As a union we are giving Mark and Sue our total support, including legal claims. We are calling for their reinstatement and an end to victimisation of all union reps Please sign the e-petition and circulate to all colleagues.
